Draft: to be checked before launch.
Pleat runs in your browser. We keep what we collect to the minimum.
What stays on your device
Your brands, logos, settings and saved versions are stored in your browser and never uploaded. Clearing your browser's site data removes them.
What we receive
- If you buy Pleat: our reseller handles payment and sends you a licence key. We see your email and order, not your card.
- When you activate a licence key, it's checked with our reseller's licence service.
Analytics
To see what people use and where Pleat can be better, the site and the tool count anonymous events through TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service: pages opened, buttons and choices clicked, how far down the page you got, and exports made (the asset and size, never the image). Vercel, our host, counts visits and page speed. Neither sets a cookie or stores anything on your device. Each page load makes up a random id in memory that's thrown away when you leave, so you can't be recognised on a later visit, and nothing records your name, email or location.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by replying to any email from us.
